Here is a quick round-up of the most interesting news of the last few days:
Two very interesting card games have been announced:
Catalyst Game Labs is releasing a deck building card game based on the computer game Master of Orion. Master of Orion: Conquest is expected to be released this summer. The base set is a two player game, but Catalyst Game Labs is already planning an expansion to bring the player number up to four.
FFG has announced the release of the Legend of the Five Rings LCG:
Fantasy Flight Games is proud to announce the upcoming release of the Legend of the Five Rings: The Card Game Core Set. Originally released in 1995 as a collectible card game, Legend of the Five Rings has since thrived with its unique setting, engaging gameplay, and enthusiastic player base. Now players new and old alike can experience Rokugan like never before in the Living Card Game format.
The release is planned for late 2017.
For next Wednesday we are expecting an interesting batch of new games:
I’m interested the most in the two HABA games Karuba and Adventure Land. I’ve seen them last year at the Essen board game shop and was impressed.
Another highlight of next week’s new games is 13 Days – The Cuban Missile Crisis: according to the publisher a game that “scratches that Twilight Struggle itch in only 45 minutes”.
Another week, another big hitting line up of new releases:
I’m trying to get Codenames and Clockwork Wars back into stock as soon as possible, but I have no date for the restock yet.
