Another week and another big delivery: we have six new games/expansions in stock and Dune is finally back in stock.

Last week we reported that Dune was stuck in customs and that stock would most likely to be allocated.
The customs hold up seems to be over now, but the game will still be delayed until October because the print run will arrive in two waves in the UK and won’t get a retail release before both waves have arrived.
A delay is always annoying, but at least this one comes with the good news that our supplier is expecting to get all the stock he needs, so there won’t be any allocation and as it stands at the moment we will be able to fulfil all pre-orders.
We will post more updates, should there be any progress regarding the release date.
We have updates regarding three hotly anticipated new releases/reprints.
The 3rd print run of Wingspan has arrived in the UK and will be with us before the end of the week. We aim to send out all payment requests Wednesday afternoon to make sure that we can ship all pre-orders before the weekend.
The remake of Dune has arrived in the UK as well but is unfortunately stuck at customs. Depending on the cause of the hold up this can get solved fairly quickly but can also take some time. We will post an update as soon as we hear anything new.
And last but not least: Black Angel, the new game from Pearl Games, will get shipped today from the UK distributor to us and should arrive sometime tomorrow afternoon. We will start sending out the payment requests for pre-orders later today with the aim to ship all pre-orders on Wednesday morning.
The 2019 editions of Dune and The Castles of Burgundy are in the Top 5 of the Hotness ranking of Boardgamegeek at the moment.
Both games are now available to pre-order and are expected to become available sometime in September.
GF9 has acquired the licence for Frank Herbert’s Dune. The licence includes the original books and the new material from Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson.
The first game planned for 2019 will be an RPG, followed by board and miniature games in 2020 (the release of the new Dune movie).

Gale Force Nine has announced Vault of Dragons, a new D&D game for a release in September:
In Vault of Dragons, players take the role of unsavory factions from the streets of Waterdeep, factions who have heard rumors of a hidden vault of gold under the city and are determined to locate it first.
In the game, players send followers to locations in Waterdeep to uncover rumors and treasure. Brawling with other factions to control key locations is to be expected, but beware the City Watch. Double-sided location tiles give players even more places to explore. Uncover the clues and enter the dungeons of the Undermountain to find the vault of dragons.

This week was a bit quieter in regards to new releases, but we still had five new arrivals:
Gale Force Nine is working on a co-operative board game based on Aliens. Planned release is September 2018 and besides a picture of the box and some miniatures, there are not much more details available about the game.

Today three new games/expansions have been released:
There was also a restock of Fields of Arle, Captain Sonar and Foxtrot Maps, Deep Sea Adventure, Star Trek: Ascendancy – Cardassian Union and Ferengi Alliance.
2018 is here – a (late) Happy New Year to everyone!
We are back in action and the first two days last week have already been quite busy. On Friday we received the first new games of the year:
And the good stuff keeps on coming: for this week we are finally expecting the release of Harry Potter: Hogwarts Battle and The Monster Box of Monsters, the first expansion. Also expected to arrive is the reprint of Altiplano and Tybor the Builder, the new Mayfair Games card game set in the world of Longsdale.
And to look a bit further ahead: We’ve just added the pre-orders for Dark Souls – The Card Game and Alien Artifacts: Discovery (first expansion pack for Alien Artifacts) to the website. Both games/expansions are expected to be available sometime in March.
