Ishtar from the award-winning designer Bruno Cathala was one of our favourite games we played at the Tabletop Gaming Live. Now it is finally available.
Also available are:
Finally, we have good news in regards to Sushi Roll: the game has arrived in the UK. Our supplier has received the stock and with a bit of luck, we will get the game on Friday (or Monday at the latest).
Rice and dice! Roll with your favorite Sushi Go! characters in Sushi Roll, a dice-based version of the best-selling card game!(Source: Publisher description)
Load up the conveyor belts with savory sushi dice — then pick one and pass the rest! Earn points for winning combos like two tempura or a set of sashimi. Grab a menu to re-roll your dice or use chopsticks to swap with an opponent. And be sure to save room for pudding at the end!
Sushi Roll had a pre-release at the UK Games Expo at the beginning of June and was expected to go on general release in the UK at the end of July.
Unfortunately, this didn’t happen and when we contacted the UK distributor to find out when the game will be available, we got a rather disappointing reply: The game has been delayed and is now expected to arrive in the UK at the end of September or early October.
We are very sorry for the delay. We will keep you up-to-date if there are any news, but hopefully we will have better news in 6-7 weeks time.
A new week brings new games: Finally arrived has Forbidden Sky from Gamewright.
From ocean, to desert, and now to the sky, this latest installment takes you to new heights with several novel challenges, including collectively planning a terrain using only limited information, and constructing a real electrical circuit. Forbidden Sky also breaks new ground for us as a publisher, as it’s our first game to include an electronic component.
Next is Dicetopia from All or None Games:
Dicetopia is a quick strategic board game for 2-4 players with a playtime of 20-30 minutes. The game introduces a fresh mix of area control, dice manipulation, worker placement, and secret objectives.
And the third new arrival is the 2nd edition of last year’s UK Games Expo release The Cousins’ War from Surprised Stare Games.
2nd Edition is a new version of The Cousins’ War with larger components. The 2nd Edition contains an optional variant, Times of Change. This variant adds in the cards originally published as the Events expansion to the 1st edition. There is 1 extra card, Jura Belli, in the Times of Change variant over and above the Events expansion.
And last but not least we also received Forum Trajanum back in stock.
The games and expansion on general UK release for next week have been confirmed:
There are more games coming from Germany, but we are not sure yet, if they will arrive next week or the week after. More about these games on Monday!
I’ve talked to the UK distributor of Forbidden Sky today about the release date for the game and there is finally some news: the delivery of the UK stock has been booked in for the 13th November.
Delivery to shops will start a day after, so hopefully, we will receive our stock on the following Friday or Monday (16th or 19th November).
