New arrivals and restocks (02/05/18)

It’s the middle of the week and most of our big deliveries have already arrived. A few of our new releases have already sold out and we are waiting for news about a restock (Black Orchestra, Arkwright, Railways of the World).

Still in stock are:

And the reprints of the highly regarded Memoir’ 44 expansions are coming in. This week we received two new ones and two restocks:

This week’s new games (22/03/18)

Today the last of this week’s new releases have arrived. In total we have received seven new games and two new expansions:

Incoming new items confirmed

Despite the snow, the rest of the week (today we are closed) should be business as usual. This means that we will get a few new games and expansions and this week’s crop has just been confirmed.

Expected to be available from Wednesday are:

Sonar is a family-friendly edition of Captain Sonar for 2-4 players. If you are wondering what the differences to Captain Sonar are, here is a short video review:

On Thursday two more games will get released:

Look ahead: What is incoming?

We are getting closer and closer to Christmas and still, quite a few of the Essen releases haven’t arrived with us. But for this week a few more have been confirmed and it also looks good for next week.

Here are the games/expansions con arrive arrived this week:

Early next week Charterstone and the Recharge pack will arrive and hopefully the main part of our Photosynthesis order, Bunny Kingdom and Mountains of Madness (the last three should get confirmed later this week).

New arrivals and restocks (20/07/17)

It has been a very busy week with lots of deliveries and new arrivals. So without further ado the list games that have arrived:

Terraforming Mars, Clank, Barenpark and Caverna: Cave vs. Cave are the restocks we have received on Tuesday and Wednesday. And that is not all: for next week we are expecting Captain Sonar, Magic Maze and Great Western Trail back.

New arrivals are:

Time Stories: Lumen Fidei Preview

It has become very quiet around Lumen Fidei, the next expansion for Time Stories. Originally announced for April there hasn’t been any news about the expansion – until now: Asmodee USA has posted a preview for the expansion.

You know the place that you’ll be sent within the timestream—15th century Spain, near the end of the centuries-long Reconquista wars between Christians and Moors. And you know your objective: to join Michel d’Ailly, the Legate of Pope Martin V, and attend a secret meeting of the Christian militant orders. The gathering has been called to discuss a portentous stone, which we suspect has supernatural importance, especially to our enemies. You must find this stone and bring it back to the T.I.M.E Agency before anyone else is able to seize it.

And according to the upcoming section of the Asmodee website the expansion is on the boat, which normally means that a release is not too far away anymore.

New arrivals so far this week are:

February Top 5

Last weekend I had time to look back at a busy February and check what our Top 5 Games in pre-orders and actual sales have been. Here are the results:

Top 5 Sales
1) Sherlock Holmes Consulting Detective: Jack the Ripper & West End Adventures
2) Inis
3) Flamme Rouge
4) Unlock!
5) The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire

The top spot for the new Sherlock game was no surprise: the first game was a big success and everything Space Cowboys are touching at the moment turns into gold (proof is Unlock, the second Space Cowboy game in the Top 5). Inis and Flamme Rogue have finally been available in bigger numbers, so you could actually order them without having a pre-order in place for months. And The Manhattan Project: Energy Empire is one of the positive surprises of the new year and now two months in a row in the Top 5.

Top 5 Pre-Orders
1) First Martians: Adventures on the Red Planet
2) Charterstone
3) Dice Forge
4) Santorini: Golden Fleece
5) Quadropolis: Public Services

First Martians looks great and I can’t wait for it to arrive. I really like games with an app integreation, so this one has been on my wish list for a while. Charterstone sounds like an interesting concept and like Space Cowboys Stonemaier Games can’t do anything wrong at the moment. Not so sure about Dice Forge, the idea sounds good, but is there enough game in the box to go beyond a shiny new concept? And two expansions (Santorini: Golden Fleece & Quadropolis: Public Services) for highly successful games rounding up the pre-order Top 5.
