Following the latest advice from Public Health England and the Government, I have decided to close the Meeples' Corner shop in Crediton from tomorrow until further notice. This also means that there won't be any Games Nights and other events (like the Pokemon Trade & Play sessions) during that time.
/wp:paragraph wp:paragraphThe website/online shop will stay open as long as the parcels still get collected by DHL. I've talked to DHL and UPS (deliver most of our stock) and so far there is no indication that they will stop their service. Should this change, I will post a further update.
/wp:paragraph wp:paragraphWhile the online shop is still open, there will be restrictions: I won't be at the shop during the day and instead work from home as much as I can. This means that a) packing and processing order will be limited to a few hours a day, so there could be slight delays in getting your order shipped. And b) I won't be able to offer the Collect+ service during the next few weeks, because I would have to drop off all these parcels in person at the local Collect+ shop, which I would like to avoid if possible.
/wp:paragraph wp:paragraphTo compensate for these restrictions and also for the loss of the economy service option for small items (for which I used Collect+), I have slightly changed my shipping charges:
/wp:paragraph wp:list- Next day delivery for an order < £50 = £4.95
- Next day delivery for an order of £50 to £99 = £2.95
- Next day delivery for an order of > £100 = £0.00
I've also removed the order collection option for local customers from the website. But to support the local gaming community and my loyal customers, I'm instead offering a discounted delivery option to customers based in Devon (£2.95 for next day delivery for order < £50 and free shipping for everything > £50).
