Taking this step is not easy, but from the 1st of May, we have to change/raise our shipping rates. DHL, our main carrier, has raised their rates at the beginning of the year, which we have tried to absorb as good as we can. But in the last couple of months, existing surcharges to the base rate have either gone up substantially (the fuel surcharge levied on every parcel) or have been added on (HGV surcharge per parcel). Combined with the rising prices of the cardboard boxes and other packing material we buy, we can not any longer keep the shipping charges at the same low level.
From Sunday on, we will charge the following for shipping :
