Description
In the Blaze card game, players try to get rid of their cards, but have to achieve this in an extremely clever and very unusual way. The player whose turn it is plays together with the second next player, which leads to constantly changing alliances. In the end, the player who collects the most feathers wins.
The Blaze card game is designed for at least three players and based on the classic Russian public domain game Durak.
To stay true to the game’s origins, Russian artist Nadezhda Mikryukova has illustrated the legendary firebirds and the decorative card frames of Blaze in a classic illustration style.

A new spin on Durak, complete with betting. A shedding game, in which you need to dump as many cards as possible, while using them to attack other players. The rulebook is a little unclear but doesn’t take long to work out (this has apparently proved to be too difficult for some, hence the game’s BGG rating), and the art is lovely, if not the most colour-blind friendly, relying on small and subtle design differences to differentiate cards. Excellent, compact card game.
