Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout.

We no longer charge VAT (sales tax) for orders outside the UK. You may be charged your local sales tax on entry to your country and could be charged duty on products manufactured outside the EU and UK.

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm GMT within 1-2 working days. The default shipping method is 'Standard Delivery'. This is a reliable airmail service with no tracking. Transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. Royal Mail state to aim to deliver these parcels in 3-5 working days but it can take a lot longer.

If you refuse to pay Custom Duties and Tax if required by your country's government, the parcel will be returned to us. Please note, any charges incurred by Meeples Corner for the return of the parcel will be subtracted from the total refund amount.

Garolium Scraggart, the beloved ruler of Brighthelm, has died. Despite her humble origins, she rose to power and championed the poor. Her final act was devising a tournament for her successor - open only to the poorest citizens. While knights, paladins and lords came seeking the crown, all were turned away. Garolium had dedicated her life to giving the impoverished a chance, and this would be her legacy.

In Paupers' Ladder, you play as a pauper competing in Garolium's tournament. Accompanied by your bird companion, explore Brighthelm while pursuing three of the five virtues: generosity, fellowship, bravery, knowledge, and magnificence. Battle creatures, complete quests, craft recipes, and discover wonders across the realm. The game features a board and over 400 cards depicting various game elements.

On your turn, move both your Pauper and Bird to adjacent Regions or keep them in place. Paupers can pay to move extra Regions. Characters then explore their current Region.

To win, learn any 3 of the 5 Virtues through different means, such as spending gems to gain generosity.
