Nippon Zaibatsu is a beautifully produced board game. Once you understand the concepts, it becomes a playground of choice and tests your ability to plan ahead.
I’ve only played the solo setup, the automa is easy to upkeep after mentally fine tuning the rules and provides the sense of an opposing player, your plans will be compromised by the automa.
Overall, the game appears well balanced for solo mode, I regularly achieve scores around 180 points, my personal best is 207 points.
Setup is reasonably efficient and it’s refreshing to play a board game with no card play mechanics.

Really good expansion! I only have the base game and this, and the hirelings are very fun to use.
Once learnt, this is a simple but great card game, a must for people who enjoy gaming

This purchase was for an expansion that has only recently been released. Meeples Corner's email notice service alerted me that it was available in stock and I ordered as soon as I could. I also orderd something else at the same time, but there happened to be a small problem with it. All times Alex kept me up to date with the order and offered a number of alternatives so get me the products as fast as possible. Everything was resolved and the order was delivered as expected.
