Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout.

We no longer charge VAT (sales tax) for orders outside the UK. You may be charged your local sales tax on entry to your country and could be charged duty on products manufactured outside the EU and UK.

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm GMT within 1-2 working days. The default shipping method is 'Standard Delivery'. This is a reliable airmail service with no tracking. Transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. Royal Mail state to aim to deliver these parcels in 3-5 working days but it can take a lot longer.

If you refuse to pay Custom Duties and Tax if required by your country's government, the parcel will be returned to us. Please note, any charges incurred by Meeples Corner for the return of the parcel will be subtracted from the total refund amount.

Dark times plague Thebes. After King Oedipus's disgraceful departure, his sons Polynices and Eteocles were meant to rule together. Now Polynices leads an army from Argos against his brother. Theban nobles back Eteocles as he struggles to maintain control. As seven champions attack the city's gates, the Cadmea citadel lies in ruins. The Fates seem to conspire against Thebes' rulers!

As war looms, noble families whisper of new leadership and rebuilding the Cadmea.

In Thebai, players become influential noble leaders in the late Bronze Age. They must rebuild the Cadmea citadel, restore exports, pray to city gods, and protect citizens while heroes battle at the gates.

The game spans 10 rounds, each with Action and Fate phases. Players use Citizen dice and move their Archon in the Action phase, while the Fate phase offers scoring opportunities. The highest Victory Points wins.
