Our Passion for Play
At Meeples Corner, we’re more than just an online store – we’re a community of passionate gamers dedicated to bringing people together around the gaming table. Founded by players for players, our online shop was born from a genuine love for the immersive worlds, strategic challenges, and shared experiences that only board games can create.
We believe that in today’s digital world, there’s something magical about gathering around a table, rolling dice, moving pieces, and creating memories face-to-face. Every game we select for our collection is chosen with care, and evaluated not just for quality of components, but for the quality of experiences it creates.
Our Story
Meeples Corner was started in 2013 by Christoph Reis, originally from Kassel in Germany, he set up shop in Crediton, Devon. Thanks to Christoph's connections to Germany, Meeples Corner had some hard to get games from the home of some of the best board game publishers in the world.
Christoph decided to close up shop in 2024 and that's when my story begins. I'm Alex and after many years of gaming and D&D I took over the Meeples Corner website with a hope of continuing this much-loved business.
We're still small-time, but we like to think that we punch above our weight in the service we provide and we've got high hopes for the next few years. Hopefully, we can also one day have our own brick-and-mortar gaming shop to connect to our community and bring the joy of gaming to more and more people.

Dixit is the most wonderful game - for children, young people and adults alike. It's about our imagination and creativity and we seem to forget about this important aspect of ourselves. Seen buying it, have played it with a 15-year old, a 17-year old and a 24-year old and honestly thought that they would be bored to death and prefer to watch TV or look at their phones. Instead, we played for almost 2 hours and it was a wonderful experience.

It is imo simply the best version of Gloomhaven out there. Better balance and more streamlined than the original GH, and less over the top with the scenario special rules and town phase shenanigans than FH. We certainly enjoyed the more frequent ‚kill all enemies‘ missions.

Very exciting game. At first play it feels like you might be missing something: how can it be this simple? But within minutes you realise that this is a game of pure strategy. And its complex. Its like playing chess in 3D. Its so easy. But its so so hard! Love it!
