In 2010, designer Klaus Teuber overhauled the two-playerCatan card game with the release ofThe Rivals for Catan – released in Germany asDie Fürsten von Catan – and in 2011 Teuber, Kosmos and Mayfair Games present a new multi-player card game set in the Catan universe:The Struggle for Catan , aka,Die Siedler von Catan: Das schnelle Kartenspiel .
As in the originalThe Settlers of Catan board game, players need to manage their resources in order to build settlements, roads, cities, city improvements and knights, all of which grant victory points (VPs) or special abilities. Control of roads and knights can change hands during the game, so don't assume that what's yours will stay yours. City improvements are expensive, but they bring you additional VPs and other bonuses, so strive to spiff up your cities! The first player to have ten VPs wins the game.The Struggle for Catan is dice-less and resource gain and exchanging is based on each player's developments making this version less luck dependent than the original. A twist in the game is that certain developments are limited and can be stolen from other players once there are no new ones left. The first player to gain 10 victory points, wins the game.
Mixing two copies of the game, can be played with 5 and 6 players.

Shipping costs are calculated at the checkout.

We no longer charge VAT (sales tax) for orders outside the UK. You may be charged your local sales tax on entry to your country and could be charged duty on products manufactured outside the EU and UK.

We aim to ship all orders placed before 3pm GMT within 1-2 working days. The default shipping method is 'Standard Delivery'. This is a reliable airmail service with no tracking. Transit times for non-UK orders can be very unpredictable. Royal Mail state to aim to deliver these parcels in 3-5 working days but it can take a lot longer.

If you refuse to pay Custom Duties and Tax if required by your country's government, the parcel will be returned to us. Please note, any charges incurred by Meeples Corner for the return of the parcel will be subtracted from the total refund amount.
