Who we are

www.meeplescorner.co.uk is a website operated by Christoph Reis trading as Meeples’ Corner, referred to throughout these Terms as “we” or “us”. Please note the following information about us:

Prices and delivery costs

The prices quoted are inclusive of VAT (where applicable) at the applicable current rate chargeable in the UK for the time being. The prices quoted exclude delivery costs. 

Delivery costs to mainland UK (England, Wales and parts of Scotland): If your order costs less than £25, delivery is £3.99/£5.99 (for EVri and DHL UK) regardless of how many items you order. If the order total is £25 or more, the shipping cost is £4.99 (DHL UK). From £75 order total, it is £2.99 (DHL UK) and as soon as your order exceeds £100, delivery is free (DHL UK).

Delivery costs to Northern Ireland, the Scottish Highlands & Islands and the Isle of Man: If your order costs less than £100, delivery is £6.95 regardless of how many items you order. If the order total is £50 or more, the shipping costs £3.95. As soon as your order exceeds £100, delivery is free.

The order process

Our order process (the checkout) allows you to check your order and amend any errors before you submit the order to us. Therefore please ensure that you read and check your order carefully at each stage of the process. If you need to correct any errors or mistakes before submitting the order, you can always go back to the previous stages of the checkout process.

After you have placed an order, we will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your order. However, this does not mean that we have accepted your order. We may contact you to tell you that we can’t accept your order for one of the following reasons:

  • the goods are unavailable or
  • your payment hasn’t been authorised or
  • we are not allowed to sell the goods to you.

After we have shipped the order we will send you an email with the tracking information for the parcel. This email will confirm the acceptance of the order to you. The Contract between you and us will only be formed once we have sent you the shipping confirmation.

Payment

We offer two payment options: Debit/credit card and PayPal. All payments will be securely processed by our payment solution providers Stripe and PayPal. No payment details will be saved on our website or on our servers. 

All payments will be taken as soon as you complete your order if you choose so. But if you order includes games that are not available at the moment, you have the option to choose to pay when the order is ready to be shipped and not when the order is placed.

If not all of the items in your order are in stock, we take the payment as soon as all items are in stock, which will delay the processing of your order until everything can be shipped. If you would like to receive available items earlier, please contact us!

Delivery Service & Pick-up

From Monday to Friday we will normally dispatch your goods within 24 hours of payment using DHL UK (1-2 days courier service with online tracking) and Evri (economy service with 3-5 days delivery times with online tracking). Orders are expertly packed to ensure you receive your games in perfect condition. In the rare event of a package getting lost, don’t worry, all postage is insured against loss.

If you live in Devon you can also pick up your order at our shop in Crediton.

Returns and refunds

If you receive a damaged or faulty game, please contact us within 30 days. We will email you a postage label so you can return the game to us. As soon as we have received it, we will send a replacement where possible. Where an exchange is not available, a 100% refund will be provided.

If you are unhappy with your purchase – for whatever reason – please contact us within 14 calendar days.  We will email you a postage label so you can return the game(s) to us (unused and in the original condition and packaging). As soon as we have received the return, a full refund will be made.
