I’ve received a lot of requests about Messina 1347, the new game from Vladimír Suchý (Underwater Cities, Praga Caput Regni) and Delicious Games. The game has been released at Essen last week, but unlike with his last two games, we won’t be able to get the game immediately after Essen.

According to a post from Vladimir on BGG.com he was only able to print 1000 copies for Essen with the main part of the print run delayed:

We currently have a promise from the printer that the game will be available in Essen.

There will be around 1000 pieces available for sale (if Essen takes place). If there are any games left, they will go to the shops.

Other games will probably not be available until Q1 2022.

Delicious games ordered more games in advance. But then the printer was told that the supplies of the cardboard for Messina was delayed. So there is currently not enough material for the game producing.

Based on this statement I assume that the game will be available for retail in February/March. Unfortunately, none of our usual suppliers is offering the game for pre-order yet, so we can’t take pre-orders for it at the moment. But I will add it to the website as soon as I have all the necessary details from one of our suppliers.

But I also have good news from Delicious Games: Praga Caput Regni is available again and we should get our restock sometime next week.
